History Of The School
Moi Girls High School Vokoli, was founded in 1974 as a Harambee Girls day school on a three (3) acre piece of land donated by the Friends Church (Quakers) and Vokoli Primary School. The founder head teacher, Mr. Jamin Kilasi steered the school to a steady growth in student population and infrastructure. The foremost students took their first national examination, Kenya Junior Secondary School Examination (KJSE) in 1975. In 1977, the School presented their first students for East African Certificate of Education (EACE). In 1983, the School was re-named from Vokoli School to Moi Girls High School – Vokoli. The School in 1984 attained government aided school status.
